Biography
Australian by birth and raised in New Zealand, Richard Mason is one of the most experienced offshore sailors of his age. Mason will be entering his third round-the-world race; his first was on Assa Abloy as trimmer in the 2001-02 event.
In 2005-06, he sailed on board Ericsson. Richard was one of the team's onboard medics. He was also in charge of media; responsible for capturing high quality video footage and photography during the legs, a job at which he excels.
