Biography

Ryan completed his Sail Making Apprenticeship with North Sails Australia between 2000 and 2005, before sailing on board Alfa Romeo as bowman/sailmaker. He then got involved in the Louis Vuitton Cup 2007, as a sailmaker for BMW Oracle Racing. Since then he has been with Ericsson Racing Team as part of the International crew.

• Sydney Hobart, 2004: Ichi Ban, 3rd place overall
• Sydney Hobart, 2005: Alfa Romeo 2, 2nd line honours
